Saorsa Ranch

Saorsa Ranch—formerly Bristlecone Ranch—is a 20,000 sq. ft. off-grid mountain estate located at 9,200 feet in Evergreen, Colorado. Built by former NFL lineman Garrett Gilkey for fellow player and close friend Ryan Jensen, the home was designed as a deeply personal retreat rooted in legacy, grit, and transformation. The name Saorsa, meaning “freedom” in Scottish Gaelic, reflects the emotional release and intentional living embodied in every inch of the design.

Fully self-sustaining, the home is powered by a solar field, battery bank, propane system, and private well, making it as resilient as it is refined. With a blend of rustic, modern, and industrial elements, Saorsa Ranch features six bedrooms, six full baths, and two half baths—split between a main residence and a three-bedroom in-law suite. Standout spaces include a Great Room with cedar timber trusses and limewash walls, a Four Season’s Room with skylights, a wood-burning fireplace, and built-in grill, and a full gym outfitted with a sauna and cold plunge.

Additional highlights include a three-tiered movie theatre, chef’s kitchen with double islands, scullery, hidden appliance pantry, and coffee bar, as well as a luxurious primary suite with a steam shower, concrete freestanding tub, and illuminated countertops. The home also includes a children’s study, his and her offices, an elevator, see-through fireplace, and a three-bay garage.

Throughout the home, you’ll find reclaimed materials, exposed steel, hand-placed tilework, and thoughtful architectural details that make this one-of-a-kind estate not only a place to live—but a story to live in.
